Hi, I’m Jen
My practice is intentionally dedicated to women and LGBTQ+ neurodiverse couples. My work is informed by both clinical expertise and lived experience, bringing an added depth of understanding to the therapeutic relationship.
I believe therapy works best when you don't have to perform, mask who you are, or fit into someone else's idea of who you should be. I’m here to walk alongside you.
Outside the Therapy Room
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me near the ocean with my two dogs, gardening, or lost in some good reading. I like coffee in the early morning, watching birds in my back yard, and spending time with family. I keep it simple, which allows me to show up fully for my clients and in my life.
My Therapeutic Style
Relational at the core, integrative in practice. I draw from trauma-informed care, IFS, AEDP, feminist psychology, and strengths-based approaches, tailoring therapy to the person in front of me.
My style is warm, engaged, curious, and collaborative. I’m not a distant or overly clinical therapist—I bring my personality into the room, pay close attention to what is happening between us, and try to create a space where you can be fully yourself. I can be gentle and spacious when that is what is needed, and more direct when I think it will be helpful.
I trust you as the expert, the relationship, your strengths, and my own clinical intuition to help guide where we go.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensed in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I recieved my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Plymouth State University. My training and education includes couples therapy, post-partum disorders, menopause-related issues and adjustment challenges, neurodiversity, trauma-informed care, complex PTSD, ADHD, self-identified autism, intimate partner violence, anxiety and depression.
My experience includes both community mental health and private practice. I've worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns, including serious and persistent mental illness.
I have worked with women and the LGBTQ+ community in private practice. These experiences continue to shape my relational, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy.
